About Valorant, Tournaments for money
Valorant is a recently released free-to-play tactical first-person hero shooter, drawing inspiration from such titles as the iconic Counter Strike series and Overwatch. It is also Riot Games’ first step into the FPS genre, though perhaps it would be more appropriate to call it a “leap”, rather than a “step”. The game was met with generally favorable opinions, which is evidenced by a steadily growing community and its increasing popularity on streaming platforms. Every hero, or “Agent”, has a unique set of skills. The main mode features a bomb-like device called the “Spike”, which one team has to deliver and activate at a specific site. The activated spike has to be defended and once the timer runs out, the team that successfully protected the device earns one point. The game continues its ascend through the list of most-watched games on Twitch, often surpassing CS: GO in terms of viewership, and Valorant tournaments have already made a lot of its best players both rich and famous.
How to play
Log in to Maxi Players and click “Create Event”. Adjust the options to your liking, including the best-of-series: Bo1, Bo3, Bo5, Bo7 (“Bo” means the number of matches played to determine the winner – 1, 3, 5, or 7). You choose the regions/countries that are allowed to participate in the event.
